Our medical system in Puerto Rico is out of control. A status of emergency or a simple consultation cannot be established on a timely manner and that is disturbing. My wife needs a simple consultation over a blood test. Due to the wait time, we must confirm our doubts tomorrow at the sonogram. Everything is done within months. The odd part is that they tell patients that the list is full, when in fact, they’re office is empty.
We will keep our positive attitude in place and just wait for the sonogram results tomorrow. This situation needs to be put in priority because the health of our people is at stake here.
