The Midnight Call

One of the saddest moments arrived. At around 12am my wife received a call from her uncle that has changed our plans for this month and possible future. Her grandfather passed away. It is heart breaking to have witnessed her devastation, crying, throwing a fit like a five year old. She was raised by her grandfather, so her entire life, he was her dad. At this point, I’m going to be on her side during her recovery of her loss. I know how she feels as I myself lost my grandfather. The next battle continues. Hopefully we will overcome. The Midnight call is the scariest call to have received.
